Cornmeal Biscuits

COMPONENTS:

1 1/2 mugs flour
1/4 mug yellow cornmeal, plus 2 tbsps
2 tsps cooking powder
3/4 tsps cooking soft drink
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsps granulated sugar
6 tbsps cooled butter or margarine
3/4 mug buttermilk, plus 1 tbsp

PREP WORK:

Preheat stove to 400 levels F.

In tool dish, blend with each other the flour, cornmeal, cooking powder, cooking soft drink, and also sugar. Mix in 3/4 mug buttermilk up until the combination holds with each other. Brush tops with the tbsp of buttermilk.
