Recipe: Sailor's Duff

Seafarer’s Duff

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

1/2 mug brownish sugar, securely loaded
2 tbsps butter
1/8 tsp cooking soft drink
2 tbsps dark molasses
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp powdered ginger
1 egg
1/2 mug milk
1 tsp cooking powder
1 mug unsifted all-purpose flour

PREP WORK:

Lotion with each other brownish sugar and butter. Liquify cooking soft drink in molasses and include to brownish sugar mix; mix well. Include cinnamon, ginger, egg, milk, cooking powder and flour. To vapor, established on a shelf in a big, deep pot, include water to come midway up sides of coffee can or mold and mildew. Beat egg yolks well, slowly including sugar.
